Each year spending Christmas Eve without the little guy gets easier and easier. This year I was able to take him to an early Christmas Eve service and then I dropped him off to his father. I had the evening to myself to get things ready for Christmas Day. After a trip to the video store I headed home for the last items to be wrapped, a house to be cleaned, and food to be prepared. I didn't sleep well that night-maybe it was my subconscious mind having Christmas Eve flashbacks-I don't know-but 11:00 Christmas morning couldn't come soon enough. Here's why:
