Random Things

We got in our last big adventure for summer yesterday with a trip to Chicago. This time the grandparents joined us. We walked down the Mag Mile, went up to the 94th floor on the John Hancock, ate brunch at The Cheesecake Factory, went to the Hersey store, of course stopped at the Lego store, and lastly ventured through Millennium Park.

I must say, I didn't do too bad when the alarm went off at 5:20am. I only hit the snooze button once. I think I stood in the shower for quite a while though. I just hate getting up in the mornings-I am so not a morning person. I had a very productive day, however there were no students. Tomorrow could be another story. I hate to admit though, it felt good to be back. It is always nice to see everyone and catch up with each another.

The football coach handed out copies of the offensive plays tonight at practice. The little guy went over them before going to bed. He really feels like a QB now. It all makes sense to me after seeing it on paper. Yes, I am a visual learner. Let's just hope the little guy is able to lead his team to victory. Four more practices before the O'Rama.

Sounds like little man is getting into football full throttle. Good luck with your first day of school.
