Simplicity

All the wonderful back to school specials have enticed me to purchasing a new laptop. My little man has inherited my old laptop which is perfect for him, and well, the desktop my parents gave him…off to school.

Just to be running on Windows XP is so exciting. Everything runs much better/quicker.

Now I am able to type my posts via Word. Hooray!!! I am so excited to see how well it works.
Anyone else uses Word for their post?

Oh yes, let’s not forgot Outlook Express. Now I can manage my personal and Blogger e-mail accounts on one program.

Simplicity.

Blog posts from Word???? Just one more thing I'll need you to show me when we do a blog night.

So, how may days until you're back to school?

Be careful with posting from Word! I've seen it leave weird line breaks in other people's entries.

Congrats on the laptop!

Have fun exploring your new toy! Sometimes I type my posts up in Word first, especially if they might be lengthy ones. If I could remember I think it would be much more useful to type "Comments" in Word first and then paste them in, as so many times I have made some long comment and then it doesn't print!

A toy that can conquer the minds of some, make a spurious plum out a tiny lot, breaking home life with at least a few…yet

giving us the freedom at a touch

liberty to fly.

Oh I love that feeling of getting new toys! I am amazed at the new generations and how thier lives incorporate technology. Do you remember 8 tracks or Laser disks? These were the greatest things that technology had to produce when I was a lad. LOL.

You sound so excited about the new school year. I love it!

Hullo! Please try to get out of Windows dependence, and try Linux and GNU instead. The future - can only be free. Since you are in the flying mode - don't let software sharks tie you down! Best, rama
