Spring Break is Officially Over

No more sleeping in.
No more playing memory while still in bed.
No more wearing pajamas all day.
No more taking mid-afternoon naps.
No more R&R.

It was back to the real world today. Time to re-start that daily routine. YUCK!

Don't get me wrong. I love my job. In fact, I feel that being a teacher is a perfect job for a mother. However, this is the time of year burn-out begins. I'm not just talking about student burn-out, I'm talking about teacher burn-out as well. Nine more weeks to go. 38 more school days. Can it get any better?

Happy Monday. A holiday hangover! This is great that we can do this sober! Hehee.

Teachers are the best. Some of my fondest memories are from mentors as such. My beau is a professor at Mt Sierra College and UCLA. It is such a gift to give in this way and thrive on seeing others grow from your guidence -- very similar to AA (even if you get burnt-out, that's lots of you that you are giving.)

Glad you were able to enjoy your spring break - you can make it the next 38 days with weekends in between... I know you can!

Thank you for being a teacher - you are one of the true and biggest heros in this world.

Blessings to you!

Great to hear you love your job but your counting down the days to your next is but a balance act when we aren't in bed playing memory isn't it..? You sound great though.
Hope you get back to work mode easily enough, be sure to double check your not wearing our pj's to work the first day back!
Thanks for sharing~
