The Weekend

So after my much needed venting on the mother f***er, I enjoyed my Friday evening cleaning, watching HBO, and basically just chillin'. I set my alarm so that I could make it to my little man's basketball game, however my little man did not show up. What an idiot he is was all that could go through my head. I gave him a schedule. I didn't call cause there was no way I was going to get myself anymore upset than I already was. I did feel he could have had the decency to call me if they weren't going to make it to the game.

So after cheering the "Raptors" on, I went to a few stores and met up with my parents at JC Penney's. I had wanted some sheers for my living room as well as my bedroom. I had e-mailed them some styles I liked to give them idea of what I was looking at. $600 later including hardware, not to mention one set of treatments that were going to be returned due to the color, my mom made my dad take the bill on that one since he picked out the expensive stuff as well as valances. Thanks dad! I then headed with them over to Sears and put my input in for the new stove they were buying for themselves. Once again, my dad went with the higher end one, however I'm sure it was my fault on that one. So we'll call it even-I just didn't have to pay for anything.

I had the pleasure of spending my evening with Number Twelve talking and drinking merlot. Thanks to Smooch Dog for letting her bring a good bottle! You're my girl! I'm so glad we have each other.

Sunday morning my parents came over and we got all the treatments up and they look fantastic. (My dad should be getting at least a $200 credit with what he has to return.) I couldn't be happier. I feel like I have a new home. Actually, my new home is starting to feel like home. My parents are totally awesome-they always have been. I treasure these moments I spend with my parents. I had to call Number Twelve to check out the window treatments since she had a glance of them without the full effect the night before. We were able to get in a coffee from Starbucks before I needed to get my little man.

As the time approached I just dreaded seeing the mother f***er. I kept my cool and all went well. My little man mentions about playing for the Laker's when I asked him why he didn't go to his basketball game. So if I am correct, he went to his game at the wrong time. I'm not sure whether my little man played or not, but what a f***ing idiot his father is. It also broke my heart that my little man asked if we were going to the party at Chuck E Cheese. When I told him no that the party was over, I thought he was going to cry. I told him that his daddy wouldn't take him to Chuck E Cheese. I'm sure the mother f***er is happy that he got his way, however he should be thinking about his son, not himself.

I guess some things never change.

Sounds like you had a busy weekend! Men can be so difficult.

I'm sorry for the hard time you had with your ex. Hopefully, as your little man gets older, he will become more understanding.

"He" as in the ex, not your son. He sounds pretty great already.
