RIG (Rest in Grease)
As of today, I'm on my 4th BlackBerry. The 4th one within the last 16 months. The first two had issues with their ports which would not allow them to charge. They were replaced under warranty at no charge. The third one was fine until last, the night I killed it. For anyone who has a smartphone, you can relate to the addiction it creates. Originally I used the BlackBerry for e-mail, then for texting, and finally for twitterberry. So there on the counter sat my sunset red BlackBerry and there butterflygirl spilled the grease she had just drained from the ground sirloin on the counter all over the phone. I couldn't get upset, it was my fault plus the phone was insured. I filed my claim at 5:30 yesterday evening and had a new phone in my possession by 1:00 this afternoon. Although I had to pay a deductible, it sure beat having to buy myself a new CrackBerry.

Funny story . . . kind of . . . I have not bought a blackberry for the reason you stated. . . addicting. . .the laptop is bad enough.
Cioa
I don't have Blackberry but I do have a HTC Touch - a smart phone. I lost two phones last year and all because I was careless.
I need to get one of those addictive things!
BFG ~ I guess I am lucky that my business pays for mine... but there is a price to pay for that too. Like the boss always having access to you 24x7. Crackberry is RIGHT! ~ jb///
One word:
IPHONE!
I love mine!
Thats soem quick service there! Did you tell them how it happened i.e. the grease?
OOOOPS! I am sorry that happened. I've dropped my cell phone in water but it still worked once it was dry.
And I don't need a Blackberry or an Iphone. It just wouldn't do for me to have unlimited access to the internet - I am bad enough already :)
