No Regrets

It feels as if the last two weeks have just flown by. Being out of school meant being out of routine. Being out of routine meant not having any structure to the day. Not having any structure to the day meant chaos. Chaos meant uncertainty. But in the end, there are not any regrets. The little guy will only be seven once. The time that we spend now can not be made up in the future. It is times like these that I cherish because I know that these uncertain moments I spend with my son are nurturing, educational, and full of love not only to him but to me as well. I may not be ready to go back to work on Monday, but I am ready for a little routine, a little structure, and a little certainty.

I am ready for the kids to get back to a routine! I think they really need it. By now they have had 9-10 days off and are bored!

Ha! I am with you on being ready for a little routine and a little structure. Glad that you have enjoyed the time with your son.

Happy New Year Butterfly Girl! I hope that 2009 is a year of blessings for you.

I find I need back that routine too..but as you said..no regrets. I've yelled at them , made them cry, cry beacuse of them, laugh with them, hugged them during this long holiday we have. Today (5th Jan) will be the end of that long hours together.

Sometimes some chaos can be good. But so can a return to structure. Good luck!
