It is finally here-summer vacation. I was done with school yesterday while the little man finished up today. He has made plans for us to go to the waterpark tomorrow. The temperature will be perfect, however I'm hoping the storms will hold out.
We celebrated the beginning of summer as well as the promotion to 1st grade with lunch at Red Robin today. I also splurged and got him a Webkinz when I was at the Hallmark store yesterday. I couldn't resist the striped lizard, he was just too cute! He decided to name him Indiana Jones. Now I can go and get the pink dragon for myself-she is too cute! She might look better in the purple dress that I originally bought for my schnauzer.
On a side note, the Cubs just lost.

I miss vacations. Maybe I should work in a school too then I don't have to make do with one vacation a year.

Our school holidays will be over in a day..back to same old schooling headache starting Monday!
