Boy, oh Boy

I have the weekend to myself once again, however I can not believe this will end in less than 24 hours. I miss that handsome little guy of mine, however I really need time for myself. Emphasizing the word T-I-M-E.

The last time my son came home from a weekend from his father's was just pure hell, plus it continued the whole week. I actually had to pick him up from school one day because he totally wigged out on his teacher. He had to change his color due to his behavior and WOW he lost it. I know it was partially due to a reward he was working towards at home, but he has never freaked out like that at school. And let's not forgot putting my $15 pair of tweezers in the outlet of my vanity mirror. Yes, an outlet...yes, the lights went out....yes, there was a spark...yes, the tweezers melted. No, he did not get electrocuted...no, he did not get burned, ...no, a fire didn't start.

It turned out to be a full moon in the days to follow. Apparently it just hit my little guy a little sooner.

Thank heavens you are both okay. It's amazing what we and are kids go through to grow up. It's amazing we all live to tell it!! :)

Wow... that is quite a reaction... doncha wish you could just pop inside their little minds sometimes so you know exactly what they need... or need to hear!?!?!? I have a hormonal little girl on my hands these days... and if I just had the magic words of the moment... it would make my life a bit easier! lol

Happy no one was physically hurt!

Sorry about the tweezers! (are they really better than the cheap ones? I havent ever broken down and bought good ones... just wondering)

Yikes! Glad he was OK. My youngest put a knife down behind a plug on a wall socket and fused the knife to the prongs of the plug on the bedside table lamp. Still got the plug with the fused-on knife. Still got the son too.

Well get rested just in case . . . hopefully all is much more smooth this time around. At least he is keeping you on your toes. Your post sounds like you have shed much light onto the past situation. :)

I think that I would have freaked that he did that and then been thankful that he didn't get hurt.

Thank God he is okay. Every parent goes through the one scary moment, mine was beads up the nose.
Your his mom and you know him best and you know he is acting out because of something that's bugging him and it may have nothing to do with you but, oh my, isn't it frustrating when you have no idea what it is.
It will be such a relief when you do find out;)
Thanks for leaving acomment on my site. I hope to read more of your blog.

Well miss, I see you haven't posted for a few days... I hope your alone time went well and that you actually were able to relax and enjoy yourself!

I'll be mourning your good tweezers with you ;O)

Tell me about it, my tweens comes back from a visit and each time try new tricks or tantrums, then they just settle and have to go again, it's a merry go round thing and I hate every bit of it.
