Hello!

So I'm back! Not completely into the swing of things yet. A friend from our women's group ended up in the hospital, needing surgery, so we have spent the last couple of days running around making sure her kids are taken care of. Her family is of no help.

I came back from my getaway completely relaxed. In fact, no one has yet to ruffle my feathers at school. This would definitely be the time as the end of the first grading period is next Wednesday and there are projects to complete, work to get finished, etc. (I'm knocking on wood as I type this.)

So my cat has knocked over the bird cage. Not once, but twice. I was awakened last night at 3:30 to a crashing noise. I don't know what has gotten into him, he has never done that before. He is even taking off the bird's blanket at night. My little guy says the cat should be grounded, unfortunately for now the bird is. He is being kept in the laundry room until I can do some rearranging. Wish me luck!

Maybe a kitty shrink? I have a cat who wants to kill my goldfish, tried discussing this matter with him but so far no luck. Spray him with a water bottle but I think he likes it. Cats can be difficult. Kinda like people eh? Minds of there own. Hope I can go back to school again someday, busy with the school of hard knocks write now, refresher course I guess. :) Take care and God Bless. It could be worse. I can't have a bird, my cat would go nuts.

Fly girl. . . . . I think the cat is mad at you for going on a great get away last weekend.
Gata has decided to get even by stalking your bird.
You know one must really be careful around cats. They don't just get mad, but they get even.
Ciao

Good luck with the cat and bird situation! And isn't it a good feeling to come back from a getaway all relaxed and happy. I hope the feeling lasts for you!

My sister wants to get a bird, but I'm afraid that my cat would do the same thing. She's pretty hostile when it comes to new pets.

The cat is obviously a good learner.
