Me

Lately, I have realized that I am me again.

Me being the person who has had her faith restored. Me being the person who is real. Me being happy, confident, and secure. I must give thanks to God. He has given me the strength, guidance, and courage to lift me up again, to make me whole.

I can not express the happiness I have each and every day. That happiness shines through to my little man, which brings me the utmost joy. Being able to spend quality time with him smiling, laughing, and enjoying life is just priceless.

I know I am able to do things. I know I have the ability to initiate and complete any task that is set before me. I am being the leader, not the follower. I am the head, not the tail.

I am a strong, self-suffcient woman. I have never felt a greater sense of security in my life. How powerful is that? Extremely.

Well done - you must feel great to see a future with you at the helm, not below deck, leading, strong, and happy.

I think its a great sign of health and healing. Golly, I remember coming to this stage myself. The realization itself is intoxicating and empowering.

Of course the strong, self-sufficient woman thing is different. *grin*

But there is a liberation in realizing your identity is not entangled with that of another human.
