Fate

Fate...

Do you ever wonder how our fate is determined? For those of us who believe in a Higher Power, myself included, our fate has already been determined by the Almighty. This being said, all of our faith must be in His hands.

So often though, we want to have the control. We want to do what we think is best for us. It is only human/natural to think that way. However, have you ever let go and felt the serenity that is given?

Sure, we are not going to understand why certain things have happened or are happening, yet if we give God the control over our lives, our fate will be as originally planned. It is all in the faith you have.

As I often look back on my life, I wonder and wonder and wonder why things have happened the way they have. I often regret not having the faith that I do now, more especially, not letting go of the control.

Ur words is absolutely right. The
God determined it at the time of our born. He is only man to know it. we cant prevent our fate. This belief to lead us to forward our life.

Good posting.

Regret is not H.P. (or God) talking its the other guy. Or as we say in A.A. it is the diease talking. Tell it to shut up and talk to H.P. instead.

That feeling of letting go, not pushing to be in control and trusting what is suppose to just be is most refreshing and serene. Great post!

Umm, I suppose I do believe in FATE, that if its meant to be it will happen, BUT, I also believe that we have a free will and choices to make, sometimes not good choices, but in the long run it will all work out the way it's meant to.

Well, you are who you are today because of all your experiences - good or bad. And I think it's pretty obvious to those who read here that you are a strong, positive, intelligent and warm person who is also a wonderful mother. Having faith now will see you through the rest of the journey :)

I'm like you always wondering what might have happened if I do or don't do this in the past.. and what will happen in the future; what's in store for us. I do believe everything happens for a reason, and only God knows best.

Don't confuse pre-knowledge with predestination.

If I stand on a 50-story building and look down at the traffic, I can see that the two oncoming cars are on a collision course long before they can. This doesn't mean I pre-ordained it, just that I have a different and longer view.

Your HP has a waaaaaaay different and longer view, but your HP also gave you that wonderful thing called "free will". Just because HP may know what will happen doesn't mean it was set up that way by HP when you were born.

IMHO, anyway.
