Balance

As we enter into the last week of July I am trying to figure out where the summer has gone. Actually, I know where it has gone, but why has it gone by so fast? Part of me is starting to get ready to go back to work so I can get back to some type of schedule/routine, while the other part of me is enjoying going with the flow of each day.

I am not good when it comes to trying to make some kind of balance. My time management skills need improvement as well as my organizational skills. I guess I just try to live each day to the fullest. The burdens that I have gone through have made me realize that there are more important things in life then trying to keep up with the small, tedious tasks of every day.

I am also lamenting the summer being almost gone... which is weird because fall is my favorite time of the year.

I can't wait for summer to start here, I am a sunny girl and winter makes me depressed. I need the sun to function.
Good idea to live each day to the fullest, I can fret easily over stupid things and daily have to learn to let go.

Flygirl, you've go it down! Being good at time mgmt. and organizational skills are like a 2 on the scale of importance compared to living each day to the fullest which is THE TEN. You won't have regrets when you look back. Don't let the piles of stuff get you down - just keep doing what you're doing :) And pass some on to me, I need to be more like you in that way!!!

It's odd that you think summer has nearly gone, when here in the UK, we feel summer is only just about to start - July/August being our main two summer months. Does it start to cool down now in Indiana or is it that your summer is way longer and started some months ago?

Enjoying the time you have now with your little man is what's most important - they grow up way too fast! Those other little jobs will always be there....

From reading your blog it seems like you do a good job of keeping balance in your life.

Children have this amazing ability to live in the Now. You have been a part of this Now in your little's mans life. Sounds like good time management to me! :)

And I've always thought I'm the only unorganized person left in this world!
Glad that I found somebody similar..but of course I still believe in some ways you're much more organized than me..
The important thing is we enjoy life..

It's hard to keep on a routine when it's off time in the summer. School will bring back that schedule and routine you are looking for. :) The summer has totally flown by. :( Boo hoo.
