Weekend Update

Well the weekend started with seeing Indiana Jones, which now will be the theme for the little man's birthday party, so he says.

I finished cleaning out the garage on Saturday. My parents came over to help. I suppose they didn't want me to end up in the ER again. My dad also put up a new ceiling fan in my living room. By the end of the day, I was exhausted. So exhausted, that I was in bed by 9:30 and slept until 9:15 the following morning.

Sunday was very relaxing. I went to a late service at church, so I recorded the Indy 500. When I got home from church I started to watch NASCAR,but fell asleep for a couple of hours. My body must have really needed the rest. I went to bed after midnight, but woke up about 10:30 today. My body must be wiped out from all of this end of the year stuff going on at school. The kids only have 4 1/2 days while I have 5 1/2.

So today I was able to plant some flowers, cut the hedges, and clean up some outside. I'm doing laundry right now. I have less than 4 hours to myself before I need to pick up that little guy of mine.

Thursday Thirteen

13 things that have happened this week:

1. I finally bought some flowers.
   
2. I cleaned out my garage.
3. I got 7 stitches on the left side of my left foot as I cleaned out the garage.
4. I bought 3 new pairs of sandals (flat ones) so that my foot wouldn't be aggravated.
5. I left a cup of milk on top of the car and drove off.
6. I washed my car-the same day the milk spilled all down it.
7. I bought some lip gloss on clearance at Walgreens.
8. I went back to Walgreens and bought 2 more lip glosses on clearance in the same color.
   
9. I served as a mediator.
10. I went to the end of the year celebration at the Y. The little man got 6 awards.
    
11. I went to my son's baseball game.
12. I purchased the season passes to the water park.
13. I watched the season finales of Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, and Grey's Anatomy

Rain, Rain Go Away

Baseball game cancelled due to all the rain. It was Guitar Hero III time. I'm half-way through intermediate. I don't play very often, however tonight I was able to rock six songs.
