Spring Break is Officially Over

No more sleeping in.
No more playing memory while still in bed.
No more wearing pajamas all day.
No more taking mid-afternoon naps.
No more R&R.

It was back to the real world today. Time to re-start that daily routine. YUCK!

Don't get me wrong. I love my job. In fact, I feel that being a teacher is a perfect job for a mother. However, this is the time of year burn-out begins. I'm not just talking about student burn-out, I'm talking about teacher burn-out as well. Nine more weeks to go. 38 more school days. Can it get any better?

Happy Monday. A holiday hangover! This is great that we can do this sober! Hehee.

Teachers are the best. Some of my fondest memories are from mentors as such. My beau is a professor at Mt Sierra College and UCLA. It is such a gift to give in this way and thrive on seeing others grow from your guidence -- very similar to AA (even if you get burnt-out, that's lots of you that you are giving.)

Glad you were able to enjoy your spring break - you can make it the next 38 days with weekends in between... I know you can!

Thank you for being a teacher - you are one of the true and biggest heros in this world.

Blessings to you!
